Emily grew up in Michigan with a large family of cooks. She spent her childhood standing next to her mother and sisters learning to cook and making art whenever she could. She moved to Portland in 2013 to pursue her career as a chef. She assisted pastry chefs, lead catering projects to feed 1,000+ people, and even became a professional pickler. Eventually opening a restaurant with her wife.
After working as a chef for many years in Portland, she transitioned into our firm in 2022 as Client Services Coordinator. Her drive to help clients led her to become the paralegal for the probate and estate administration a year later.
Emily still loves to cook for her wife and friends and often hosts dinner parties for everyone. She also spends much of her time screen printing, embroidering, and playing with her 3 cats.
